Al-Ḥākim said: "Its isnād is authentic." And al-Dhahabī agreed! I say: There is some consideration in it; because there is some discussion about Muḥammad ibn Ṭalḥah regarding his memory, and for this reason, the ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "Truthful but makes mistakes." Al-Dhahabī said in "al-Mīzān": "Known to be truthful, reliable. Abū Ḥātim said: He is not to be used as evidence." I say: Thus, his ḥadīth is considered ḥasan if it does not contradict. And some weak narrators have narrated it from him from Ibn al-Munkadir from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib with it.
