those who do not heed the saying of the wise Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): "One of you sees the speck in his brother's eye, but does not see the log in his own eye." Its citation has been previously mentioned under number (33) both as a marfūʿ and mawqūf narration, and the one protected is the one whom Allāh protects. *

- (O Allāh! Bring to this food a servant whom You love and who loves You, and then Saʿd [ibn Abī Waqqāṣ] appeared.) It was narrated by al-Bazzār in "al-Baḥr al-Zakhkhār" (4/46/1210) through the route of Maʿn ibn ʿĪsá, who said: ʿUbaydah bint Nābil narrated to me from ʿĀʾishah bint Saʿd from her father: that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) had food in front of him, and he said: ... and mentioned it. He said: "We do not know it to be narrated with this wording except from Saʿd through this isnād." I say: This isnād is good, its men are trustworthy, except for ʿUbaydah bint Nābil, and Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned her in "al-Thiqāt" (7/307) through the narration of (al-Khaṣīb ibn Nāṣiḥ) from her, and a number of others narrated from her, including (Maʿn ibn ʿĪsá); as you see in this isnād, and Isḥāq ibn Muḥammad al-Farawī; as in "al-Tahdhīb", and ʿUthmān ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ḥarrānī; as al-Bazzār said in "al-Baḥr al-Zakhkhār" (4/44), and al-Farawī's narration from her is with him under numbers (1205-1208), and al-Ḥarrānī's narration from her under number (1209), so she is truthful, contrary to what al-Ḥāfiẓ said about her: "acceptable"! Therefore, al-Dhahabī did not mention her in (the section of unknown women) at the end of "al-Mīzān", but rather authenticated her ḥadīth as will be shown. As for the narration of (al-Khaṣīb) from her; al-Ḥākim narrated it in "al-Mustadrak" (3/499) through the route of al-Rabīʿ ibn Sulaymān: al-Khaṣīb ibn Nāṣiḥ narrated to us: ʿUbaydah bint (original: ibn) Nābil (original: Nāʾil) narrated to us from ʿĀʾishah bint Saʿd with it, and he said:
