(Note): What led me to this analysis was that I saw Shaykh al-Aʿẓamī in his commentary on "al-Muṣannaf" did not add to the analysis of the ḥadīth beyond attributing it to al-Ṭabarānī! This is from one perspective, and from another perspective: I saw our colleague ʿAbd al-Majīd al-Salafī in his commentary on "al-Ṭabarānī" criticized the ḥadīth with the aforementioned Shāhīn, and since that might lead readers to think it is weak, I found it necessary to clarify its authenticity with the two supporting narrations from ʿAlī and Jābir. It was narrated by ʿAbd al-Razzāq in "al-Muṣannaf" (11/389/20818), and through his route: al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (3/146) from Maʿmar from al-Zuhrī from Sinān ibn Abī Sinān that he heard Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī narrate: that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) concealed for Ibn Ṣayyād (smoke), and asked him what he had concealed for him? He replied: Dukh. He said: "Be gone! You will not exceed your limit." When he turned away, the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "What did he say?" Some of them said: Dukh.
