with Allāh—he said: I think he said—on the Day of Resurrection from Asad, Ghaṭafān, Hawāzin, and Tamīm." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (3523) and Muslim (7/179) through the route of Ayyūb from Muḥammad from him. It was also recorded by al-Tirmidhī (3950) through the route of Abū al-Zanād from al-Aʿraj from him. And it was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān (7247 - al-Iḥsān) through the route of Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr from Abū Salamah from Abū Hurayrah with a similar wording. A similar narration was previously mentioned in the ḥadīth of ʿAmr ibn ʿAbasah (3127). (Note) The ḥadīth of Abū Juḥayfah was criticized by al-Haythamī (10/51) as it is from the narration of al-Ḥajjāj ibn Arṭāh, who is known for tadlīs! The narration of Ibn Ḥibbān is free from this issue, and therefore the commentator on "Musnad Abī Yaʿlá" erred when he said: "Its isnād is authentic!" and did not attribute it to anyone other than Abū Yaʿlá! He overlooked the authentic narration of Ibn Ḥibbān! The commentator on "al-Maqṣid al-ʿAlī" (2/254) followed him in this oversight, but he said: "Its isnād is weak," following al-Haythamī's criticism due to ʿanʿanah! Our brother Ḥamdī al-Salafī (22/156) did the same, and added another error by saying: "And it was narrated by Ibn Mājah (711)!" However, he only has the story of Abū Juḥayfah's arrival without the welcome, which is in "the two Ṣaḥīḥs" and others, and it is extracted in "al-Irwāʾ" (1/248-249), and this is what also misled the commentator on "Abī Yaʿlá," who authenticated it without realizing that it does not contain the mentioned welcome! *
عند الله- قال: أحسبه قال: - يوم القيامة من أسد وغطفان، وهوازن وتميم ". أخرجه البخاري (٣٥٢٣) ، ومسلم (٧/١٧٩) من طريق أيوب عن محمد عنه. وأخرجه الترمذي (٣٩٥٠) من طريق أبي الزنَّاد عن الأعرج عنه. وأخرجه ابن حبان (٧٢٤٧- الإحسان) من طريق محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة نحوه. وتقدم نحوه في حديث عمرو بن عبسة (٣١٢٧) . (تنبيه) حديث أبي جحيفة أعله الهيثمي (١٠/ ٥١) بأ نه من رواية الحجاج ابن أرطاة وهو مدلس! ورواية ابن حبان سالمة منه، ولذلك فقد وهم المعلق على "مسند أبي يعلى"، فقال:"إسناده صحيح "! ولم يعزه إلى غير أبي يعلى! فغفل عن رواية ابن حبان الصحيحة! وتبعه في هذه الغفلة المعلق على "المقصد العلي " (٢/٢٥٤) ، ولكنه قال: "إسناده ضعيف " متبعاً إعلال الهيثمي بالعنعنة! وكذلك فعل أخونا حمدي السلفي (٢٢/١٥٦) ، وزاد وهماً آخر فقال:"ورواه ابن ماجه (٧١١) "! وليس عنده إلا قصة قدوم أبي جحيفة دون الترحيب، وهي في "الصحيحين " وغيرهما، وهي مخرجة في "الإرواء " (١/٢٤٨- ٢٤٩) ، وهذا هو الذي غر أيضاً المعلق على"أبي يعلى"، فصححه دون أن يتنبه أنه ليس فيها الترحيب المذكور! *
