and the other: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Maryam, who was mentioned by Ibn ʿAdī in "al-Kāmil," and he said (4/525-526): "An Egyptian, narrating from al-Firyābī and others with falsehoods." I said: Then he presented four ḥadīths for him, three of which are known to be authentic from other than his route, then he said: "And this ʿAbd Allāh is either extremely negligent, not knowing what he is narrating, or he does it deliberately; for I have seen other ḥadīths from him—which I did not mention—that are not preserved." And I say: I did not include it here because of him, but rather because of the supporting evidence it has, as will come, and its truthfulness and correspondence to the reality of this time. The ḥadīth was also narrated by Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr in "al-Jāmiʿ" (1/23) through another route from this ʿAbd Allāh. It was also narrated by al-Khaṭīb in "al-Mawḍiḥ" (1/108-ṭ), as well as by Ibn ʿAsākir in "Tārīkh Dimashq" (4/313-314-al-maṣūrah) through the route of al-Ṭabarānī. Then I found another route for it in "Muʿjam al-Ṭabarānī" (3/221/3111) through the route of ʿUthmān ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from Ṣadaqah from Zayd ibn Wāqid from al-ʿAlāʾ ibn al-Ḥārith from Ḥizām ibn Ḥakīm ibn Ḥizām from his father, attributed to the Prophet. Al-Haythamī said: "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Kabīr,' and in it is ʿUthmān ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ṭarāʾifī, who is trustworthy, except that it was said about him: he narrates from the weak, and this is from his narration from Ṣadaqah ibn Khālid, who is among the men of (al-Ṣaḥīḥ)."
والأخرى: عبد الله بن أبي مريم هذا، أورده ابن عدي في "الكامل "، وقال(٤/ ٥ ٢٥-٢٥٦) :."مصري، يحدث عن الفريابي وغيره بالبواطيل ". قلت: ثم ساق له أربعة أحاديث، ثلاثة منها معروفة الصحة من غير طريقه،ثم قال:" وعبد الله هذا إما أن يكون مغفَّلاًًً لا يدري ما يخرج من رأسه، أو يتعمد؛فإني رأيت له غير حديث- مما لم أذكره- غير محفوظ ". وأقول: لم أخرجه هنا من أجله، وإنما من أجل ما له من الشواهد؛ كمايأتي، ولمصداقيته ومطابقة ما فيه للواقع في هذا الزمان. والحديث أخرجه ابن عبد البر في "الجامع " (١/٢٣) من طريق أخرى عنعبد الله هذا. وأخرجه الخطيب في "الموضح " (١/١٠٨- ط) ، وكذا ابن عساكر في "تاريخ دمشق " (٤/٣١٣- ٣١٤- المصورة) من طريق الطبراني. ثم وجدت له طريقاً أخرى في"معجم الطبراني" (٣/ ٢٢١/ ٣١١١) من طريق عثمان بن عبد الرحمن عن صدقة عن زيد بن واقد عن العلاء بن الحارث عن حِزام بن حكيم بن حزام عن أبيه، مرفوعاً به. وقال الهيثمي:"رواه الطبراني في "الكبير"، وفيه عثمان بن عبد الرحمن الطرائفي، وهوثقة، إلا أنه قيل فيه: يروي عن الضعفاء، وهذا من روايته عن صدقة بن خالد، وهو من رجال (الصحيح) ".
