al-Mundhir al-Ḥizāmī: Maʿn ibn ʿĪsá narrated to us: Fāʾid, the freedman of ʿAbādil, narrated to us from his master ʿUbayd Allāh ibn ʿAlī ibn Abī Rāfiʿ from his grandmother Salmá who said ... and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is authentic, its men are trustworthy, the men of al-Bukhārī; except for Fāʾid, who is trustworthy; Ibn Maʿīn and others deemed him reliable, and al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "truthful."
