Ḥibbān also (9/12/6832), and Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (2/547/1151), and al-Bayhaqī in "al-Sunan" (8/153) from the ḥadīth of Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim who said: A woman came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and he ordered her to return to him. She said: "What if I come and do not find you?" as if she was referring to death. He (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said ... and he mentioned it. *

- (You will attack a man wrapped in a striped cloak, who is pledging allegiance to the people, from the people of Paradise) It was recorded by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (2/290/1292), and al-Ḥākim (3/98), and Ibn ʿAdī in "al-Kāmil" (3/393), and Ibn ʿAsākir in "Tārīkh Dimashq" (9/155-156) through the route of Ḥammād ibn Salamah from Saʿīd al-Jurayrī from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Shaqīq from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ḥawālah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said one day ... and he mentioned it. And he added: So we attacked ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān while he was wrapped in a striped cloak, pledging allegiance to the people. He said: meaning: buying and selling. And the context is from Ibn ʿAdī, who said: "And this Saʿīd al-Jurayrī is reliable in ḥadīth, and his ḥadīth is a proof; from those who heard from him before the confusion." I said: And Ḥammād ibn Salamah is among those who heard from him before the confusion, as in "al-Tahdhīb," so it is a sound isnād, and al-Ḥākim said likewise, and al-Dhahabī agreed with him. And it has a supporting narration similar to it, which is the one that follows. And ʿAbd Allāh ibn Shaqīq has another isnād, narrated by Kahmas ibn al-Ḥasan from him, who said: Haramī ibn al-Ḥārith and Usāmah ibn Khuraym—who used to engage in military expeditions—narrated to me a ḥadīth, and neither was aware of the other
