al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ (1/119/2/2354) from the path of ʿAlī ibn ʿĀṣim from Saʿīd al-Jarīrī from Abū Naḍrah from Jābir with a similar narration, but he did not provide the complete wording. ʿAlī ibn ʿĀṣim is considered weak due to his insistence on his error, as mentioned repeatedly. As for al-Ḥākim, he only narrated the second part of it (1/24) from the path of Hishām ibn Saʿd from Zayd ibn Aslam with it. He did not explicitly authenticate it; rather, he mentioned it as a supporting evidence for the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, who said: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) recited: 'Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing,' and he placed his index finger on his eye and his thumb on his ear." He said: "A ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīth according to the criteria of Muslim," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him. It was also narrated by Ibn Khuzaymah in "al-Tawḥīd" (p. 31), and from his path: Ibn Ḥibbān (1732 - Mawārid), al-Bayhaqī in "al-Asmāʾ" (179), and Abū Dāwūd in "al-Sunnah" at the end of his book "al-Sunan" (4728), and we will discuss its isnād there, if Allāh wills. The section on (al-Anqāb) and (the three tremors) was narrated by al-Bukhārī (1881) from the ḥadīth of Anas, and the section on (the warning) was narrated similarly (7127) from the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿUmar. The section on (the removal of impurity) was narrated (1884) from the ḥadīth of Zayd ibn Thābit, and (1883) from another path from Jābir.

(for the trial of some of you is more fearful to me than the trial of the Dajjāl, and no one will be saved from what precedes it except that they will be saved from it, and no trial has been made—since the world began—small or large except for the trial of the Dajjāl). It was narrated by Aḥmad (5/389): narrated to us by Wahb ibn Jarīr: narrated to us by my father, who said: I heard al-Aʿmash from Abū Wāʾil from Ḥudhayfah, who said:
(لأنَا لِفِتْنَةِ بَعْضِكْم أخْوَفُ عندي فتنة الدجال، ولن ينجو أحد مما قبلها إلا نجا منها، وما صُنِعَتْ فتنةٌ - منذ كانت الدنيا- صغيرة ولا كبيرة إلا لفتنة الدجال). أخرجه أحمد (٥/٣٨٩) : ثنا وهب بن جرير: ثنا أبي قال: سمعت الأعمش عن أبي وائل عن حذيفة قال:
