secondly: Abū Muʿāwiyah Muḥammad ibn Khāzim: al-Aʿmash narrated to us with it; except that he said: "... a man will be brought..." the ḥadīth. It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/170), and also by Muslim—though he did not provide its wording—, al-Tirmidhī in "al-Sunan" (8/261/2599), Ibn Ḥibbān (9/233/7331 - al-Iḥsān), and Ibn Jarīr in "Tafsīr" (19/30); except that he said: "... he said: a man will be brought...". al-Tirmidhī said: "A ḥadīth that is ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ." thirdly: Abū Yaḥyá al-Ḥammānī said: al-Aʿmash narrated to us with it, similar to the wording of Ibn Numayr. It was recorded by Abū ʿAwānah. The name of Abū Yaḥyá is ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ḥammānī, and he is trustworthy but makes mistakes, from the men of the two Shaykhs. There is a difference in the narration of this ḥadīth from al-Aʿmash; Ibn Numayr and al-Ḥammānī said: "... the last of the people of the Fire to exit from it is a man who will be brought...". Its apparent meaning is that the man who will be brought is the first one mentioned before him, and this is very problematic as will be explained. Abū Muʿāwiyah said: "... a man will be brought."
