2- al-Zuhrī from Ḥumayd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from Abū Hurayrah with it. It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (3481), Muslim (8/97-98), al-Nasāʾī (1/294), Ibn Mājah (4255), ʿAbd al-Razzāq in "al-Muṣannaf" (11/283/20548), Aḥmad (2/269), and Ibn Ṣāʿid in "Zawāʾid al-Zuhd" (372/1056). As for the Companions: 1 and 2- Ḥudhayfah ibn al-Yamān (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) said: I heard him (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say ... and he mentioned something similar. ʿUqbah ibn ʿAmr said: And I heard him say that, and he was a grave digger. It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (3452); Aḥmad (5/395); al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" (5/430/7160), and al-Ṭabarānī (17/231-235). It was narrated by al-Nasāʾī and Ibn Ḥibbān (2/22/650) from Ḥudhayfah alone, and it is a narration for al-Bukhārī (6480). 3- Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): that he mentioned a man among those who passed... the ḥadīth is similar, and in it: "And if Allāh has power over him, He will punish him." And in it: "He took their pledges on that." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (6481 and 7508), Muslim, Ibn Ḥibbān (649), Aḥmad (3/69-70 and 77-78), Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr (11/39), and al-Ṭabarānī (6/306)
