from Shaybah (2/52) from ʿUbayd Allāh ibn ʿUmar; both of them from him with it. I said: And this is an authentic isnād except for the break between al-Zuhrī and Ibn ʿUmar, as he did not meet him, and some weak narrators have connected it as will be mentioned. The second: al-Bazzār said in "his Musnad" (1/274/567): Yūsuf ibn Muḥammad ibn Sābiq narrated to us: al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī narrated to us: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us from ʿAmr ibn Dīnār from Ibn ʿUmar as marfūʿ with it. I said: And this is a good isnād, all its men are trustworthy from the men of the two Shaykhs; except for this Ibn Sābiq; and Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in (the fourth level) of "al-Thiqāt" (9/282), and he gave him the kunya "Abū Bakr al-Qurashī al-Kūfī," and said: "He narrates from Wakīʿ, our shaykhs narrated to us from him." So he is known, not unknown. The third: It is narrated by Abū Ṣāliḥ al-Ḥarrānī: ʿAbd al-Razzāq ibn ʿUmar narrated to us from al-Zuhrī from Sālim from his father who said ... and he mentioned it. It was extracted by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (12/282/13122). I said: And this is very weak; ʿAbd al-Razzāq ibn ʿUmar—he is Abū Bakr al-Thaqafī al-Dimashqī—al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "He is abandoned in ḥadīth from al-Zuhrī, lenient in others." So the reliance is on the previous path. And Abū Ṣāliḥ al-Ḥarrānī—he is ʿAbd al-Ghaffār ibn Dāwūd—is trustworthy from the men of al-Bukhārī
