the noble, and the essence of his thought and understanding. All of this can be found by the reader in this book—with its three sections—rich with valuable ḥadīth and fiqh research, and scholarly responses, which Allāh granted to the shaykh, may Allāh have mercy on him and reward him abundantly. It is worth noting here that the shaykh, may Allāh have mercy on him, mentioned two ḥadīths numbered (3106, 3528), then refrained from authenticating them and transferred them to "al-Ḍaʿīfah" (6720, 5848). The shaykh indicated the transfer of the first of them, and we pointed out the transfer of the other in its place. Finally, we have printed the book as it was in the shaykh's original, correcting any apparent errors that no human is free from, and we have created its scholarly indexes in the manner they were made during the shaykh's lifetime—as much as possible—in cooperation with some of our brothers from among the students of knowledge, may Allāh reward them well. We ask Allāh to benefit the Muslims in the east and west of the earth with this volume, as He benefited them with what preceded it, and to reward the shaykh abundantly, and to grant him forgiveness.
