- "The adulterer does not commit adultery while he is a believer, nor does the one who drinks alcohol drink it while he is a believer, nor does the thief steal while he is a believer, nor does the one who plunders a plunder that causes people to raise their eyes to him do so while he is a believer." And its isnād in the other instance: Yaḥyá ibn Bukayr narrated to me: al-Layth narrated it. And it is with the others through other chains from al-Layth with it. Yūnus also followed him from Ibn Shihāb al-Zuhrī with it. It was recorded by Muslim, as well as al-Bukhārī.
