he said: Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥārith narrated to us, Muḥammad ibn al-Mughīrah narrated to us, al-Nuʿmān narrated to us, Abū Bakr narrated to us: Shuʿayb ibn al-Ḥabbāb informed me from al-Shaʿbī who said: I heard Fāṭimah bint Qays (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā) say: I came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) with a necklace weighing seventy mithqāl of gold, and I said: O Messenger of Allāh! Take from it the obligatory portion that Allāh has ordained in it. She said: So the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) took one mithqāl and three-quarters of a mithqāl, and he distributed it. She said: I said: O Messenger of Allāh! Take from it what Allāh has ordained in it. She said: So the Messenger of Allāh distributed it among these six categories, and others, and he mentioned it. [She said:] I said: O Messenger of Allāh! I am content with what Allāh and His Messenger are content with. I said: And this isnād is authentic, all its narrators are trustworthy, from the men of "al-Tahdhīb" up to (al-Nuʿmān) who is Ibn ʿAbd al-Salām al-Aṣbahānī. As for the narrator from him, Muḥammad ibn al-Mughīrah, he is al-Aṣbahānī, the companion of al-Nuʿmān, and he was mentioned by Abū al-Shaykh in "Ṭabaqāt al-Aṣbahāniyyīn" (1/243-244) and by Abū Nuʿaym in "Akhbār Aṣbahān" (2/185-186) with the narration of a group of trustworthy people from him, and they mentioned that he was devoted to worship and night prayer, accompanied al-Nuʿmān, and heard most of his original works, and he died in the year (231), and Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt" (6/105). As for the teacher of Abū al-Shaykh (Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥārith), he was also mentioned by Abū al-Shaykh in "al-Ṭabaqāt" (2/136) as well as by Abū Nuʿaym (1/188-189), and he was narrated from by Abū Bakr al-Baradhīʿī and Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyá ibn Mandah, he heard from Saʿīd ibn Manṣūr and his hearing was accepted, and he had the books of al-Nuʿmān from Muḥammad ibn al-Mughīrah. Abū al-Shaykh said: "I attended his gathering, and Abū Bakr al-Bazzār came, so he brought out to him the books of al-Nuʿmān, and he selected from them
قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن محمد بن الحارث حدثنا محمد بن المغيرة حدثنا النعمان حدثنا أبو بكر: أخبرني شعيب بن الحباب عن الشعبي قال: سمعت فاطمة بنت قيس رضي الله عنها تقول: أتيت النبي ﷺ بطوق فيه سبعون مثقالا من ذهب، فقلت: يا رسول الله! خذ منه الفريضة التي جعل الله فيه. قالت: فأخذ رسول الله ﷺ مثقالا وثلاثة أرباع مثقال، فوجهه. قالت: فقلت: يا رسول الله! خذ منه الذي جعل الله فيه. قالت: فقسم رسول الله على هذه الأصناف الستة، وعلى غيرهم، فقال: فذكره. [قالت:] قلت: يا رسول الله! رضيت لنفسي ما رضي الله ﷿ به ورسوله. قلت: وهذا إسناد صحيح، رجاله كلهم ثقات من رجال "التهذيب" إلى (النعمان) وهو ابن عبد السلام الأصبهاني. وأما الراوي عنه محمد بن المغيرة فهو الأصبهاني صاحب النعمان، ترجمه أبو الشيخ في "طبقات الأصبهانيين" (١ / ٢٤٣ - ٢٤٤) وأبو نعيم في "أخبار أصبهان" (٢ / ١٨٥ - ١٨٦) برواية جمع من الثقات عنه، وذكرا أنه كان صاحب عبادة وتهجد، صحب النعمان، وسمع عامة أصوله، توفي سنة (٢٣١)، وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (٦ / ١٠٥). وأما شيخ أبي الشيخ (إبراهيم بن محمد بن الحارث)، فقد ترجمه أبو الشيخ في "الطبقات" أيضا (٢ / ١٣٦) وكذا أبو نعيم (١ / ١٨٨ - ١٨٩)، حدث عنه أبو بكر البرذعي ومحمد بن يحيى بن منده، سمع من سعيد بن منصور وذهب سماعه، وكان عنده كتب النعمان عن محمد بن المغيرة. قال أبو الشيخ: "وحضرت مجلسه فجاء أبو بكر البزار، فأخرج إليه كتب النعمان، فانتخب.
