I said: You have known that he was followed by Ibn Fulayḥ and Ibn Maymūn, and they are also trustworthy, so the isnād is extremely authentic. Al-Mundhirī erred in his general attribution to al-Ṭabarānī, for he only narrated it in "al-Awsaṭ," and al-Haythamī attributed it to him. The second: Ṣāliḥ ibn Abī al-Akhdar from al-Zuhrī with it. It was extracted by al-Bazzār (3/337/2886) and he said: "There was a difference in it from al-Zuhrī, as Ibn ʿUyaynah said: from al-Zuhrī from ʿUbayd Allāh as mursal. ʿUqayl said: from al-Zuhrī from ʿUbayd Allāh from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī (originally: Abū Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib from Abū Hurayrah). Sufyān ibn Ḥusayn said: from al-Zuhrī from ʿUrwah from ʿĀʾishah." I said: I have not encountered the mursal of ʿUbayd Allāh (1), so if the isnād to him is authentic, then the correct [narration] from him is from Ibn ʿAbbās due to the narration of the three trustworthy [narrators] from him, and it is apparent that al-Bazzār did not connect that to him. Ṣāliḥ ibn Abī al-Akhdar is weak, but he is considered if he does not contradict.
