you have come to know that this addition is not in "al-Ṣaḥīḥ," and the ḥāfiẓ has explicitly stated this in "al-Fatḥ" (11/142). Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah followed Sufyān al-Thawrī, and al-Bukhārī narrated it (4392): Abū Nuʿaym narrated to us, Sufyān narrated from Ibn Dhakwān in an abbreviated form. Ibn Dhakwān's name is ʿAbd Allāh, and he is Abū al-Zanād. Ibn Ḥibbān also extracted it in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (2/162/975) through another route from Abū Nuʿaym, and Aḥmad (2/448): Wakīʿ narrated to us from Sufyān with it. Al-Mughīrah ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān followed him from Abū al-Zanād with it, except that he added after saying: "So invoke Allāh upon it": "It was said: Daws has perished." Muslim extracted it (7/180). I have strayed far from the ḥadīth of the chapter while discussing the narrator of its abbreviated witness, to now say: it has another witness more authentic and more complete than the ḥadīth of Anas. In it, he (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "The right, then the right." It was narrated by the two Shaykhs and others, and its extraction has been previously mentioned under number (1771). In this, there is a text indicating that the server begins with the one on his right, not the eldest, the most knowledgeable, or the best among them, and this was the practice of the righteous predecessors as you see in "Muṣannaf Ibn Abī Shaybah" (8/223).
