ʿAbd al-Wārith informed us, saying: Sulaymān (meaning Ibn al-Mughīrah) narrated from Ḥumayd (meaning Ibn Hilāl), who said: There was a man from the tribe of al-Ṭafāwah who passed by us, and he came to the tribe and told them, saying: I arrived in Medina with our caravan, and we sold our goods (original: our merchandise) (1). Then I said: I will go to this man and bring back news of him to those after me. He said: I reached the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and he was showing me a house. He said: and he mentioned it. I said: And this isnād is authentic, all its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim] except for the man from al-Ṭafāwah, as he was not named, but it does not harm [the authenticity] because he is a Companion, and all the Companions are just. And al-Haythamī said (5/277): "It was narrated by Aḥmad, and its narrators are the narrators of the authentic [collections]." His saying: (ṣayṣatahā) is the spindle with which one spins and weaves, as mentioned in "al-Nihāyah."
عبد الوارث أخبرنا سليمان (يعني ابن المغيرة) عن حميد (يعني ابن هلال) قال: كان رجل من الطفاوة طريقه علينا، فأتى على الحي فحدثهم قال: قدمت المدينة في عير لنا، فبعنا بضاعتنا (الأصل: بياعتنا) (١) ثم قلت: لأنطلقن إلى هذا الرجل، فلآتين من بعدي بخبره، قال: فانتهيت إلى رسول الله ﷺ، فإذا هو يريني بيتا. قال: فذكره. قلت: وهذا إسناد صحيح، رجاله كلهم ثقات رجال الشيخين غير الرجل الطفاوي، فإنه لم يسم، ولا يضر لأنه صحابي، والصحابة كلهم عدول. وقال الهيثمي (٥ / ٢٧٧) : " رواه أحمد، ورجاله رجال الصحيح ". قوله: (صيصتها) هي الصنارة التي يغزل بها وينسج كما في " النهاية ".
- "[O Abū Hurayrah] take them (meaning the dates in which the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) prayed for blessing) and gather them in your bag, or in this bag. Whenever you want to take something from it, put your hand in it and take, but do not scatter it." It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (3838), Ibn Ḥibbān (2150), al-Bayhaqī in "al-Dalāʾil" (6/109), and Aḥmad (2/352) through various chains from Ḥammād ibn Zayd: al-Muhājir narrated to us from Abū al-ʿĀliyah al-Riyāḥī from Abū Hurayrah, who said: I brought dates to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and said: O Messenger of Allāh! Pray to Allāh for blessing in them. So he gathered them (and in another narration: he arranged them before him), then he prayed for blessing in them for me, and he said to me: (and he mentioned the ḥadīth). I carried from these dates such and such a measure (and in another chain: fifty measures) in the cause of Allāh, and we used to eat from it and give to others, and it never left my side
- " [يا أبا هريرة] خذهن (يعني تمرات دعا فيهن ﷺ بالبركة)فاجمعهن في مزودك هذا، أو في هذا المزود، كلما أردت أن تأخذ منه شيئا، فأدخليدك فيه فخذه ولا تنثره نثرا ".أخرجه الترمذي (٣٨٣٨) وابن حبان (٢١٥٠) والبيهقي في " الدلائل " (٦ /١٠٩) وأحمد (٢ / ٣٥٢) من طرق عن حماد بن زيد: حدثنا المهاجر عن أبيالعالية الرياحي عن أبي هريرة قال: أتيت النبي ﷺ بتمراتفقلت: يا رسول الله! ادع الله فيهن بالبركة، فضمهن (وفي رواية: فصفهن بينيديه) ، ثم دعا لي فيهن بالبركة، فقال لي: (فذكر الحديث) ، فقد حملت منهذا التمر كذا وكذا من وسق (وفي طريق: خمسين وسقا) في سبيل الله، وكنانأكل منه ونطعم، وكان لا يفارق حقوي
