he did that three times, then said: "Return to your work." It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (3548) and al-Rūyānī in "Musnad" (p. 148 / 1-2), both with the same isnād from him. And it is a sound isnād. The ḥadīth provides clear evidence that the devil can possess and enter a person, even if they are a righteous believer. There are many ḥadīths on this topic, and I have previously referenced one of them under number (485) from the ḥadīth of Yaʿlá ibn Murrah, who said: "I traveled with the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and saw something wondrous from him..." In it: "A woman came to him and said: 'This son of mine has been afflicted for seven years, and it seizes him twice every day.' The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: 'Bring him closer.' So she brought him closer, and he spat in his mouth and said: 'Get out, enemy of Allāh! I am the Messenger of Allāh.'" It was narrated by al-Ḥākim, who authenticated it. Al-Dhahabī agreed with him, although it is disconnected. Then I referenced it through other chains from Yaʿlá, one of which was deemed good by al-Mundhirī! I concluded the referencing by saying: "In summary, the ḥadīth with these follow-ups is good (1). And Allāh knows best." Then I came across a strange book among the peculiar publications of the present era titled "The Impossibility of Jinn Entering the Human Body" by its author (Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān Īhāb ibn Ḥusayn al-Atharī) - indeed, al-Atharī is the trend of the era! - and this title alone suffices for the discerning reader to avoid the ignorance, misguidance, and deviation contained within the book
