from their father in only two books among those whose authors committed to authenticity, namely "Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān" and "Mustadrak al-Ḥākim." First: The ḥadīths of Buraydah narrated by his two sons with their numbers in "al-Iḥsān bi-Tartīb Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān," published by Dār al-Kutub al-ʿIlmiyyah, in seven volumes: 1 - "The night I was taken on the Night Journey..." (1/1/12/47) which is also found in "al-Mishkāt" (5921/second verification) and was deemed good by al-Tirmidhī, and authenticated by al-Ḥākim and al-Dhahabī. 2 - "The nobility of the people of the world..." (2/42/697 and 698) which is also found in "al-Irwāʾ" (6/271-272) and was authenticated by al-Ḥākim and al-Dhahabī, and ʿAbd Allāh ibn Buraydah explicitly stated hearing it from his father! 3 - "I asked Allāh by the name which, if asked by, He gives..." (2/125/888 and 889) which is also found in "Ṣifat al-Ṣalāh" and "Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd" (1341), and was authenticated by al-Ḥākim and al-Dhahabī, and deemed good by al-Tirmidhī. 4 - The ḥadīth about the question regarding the prayer times (3/24/1490 and 35/1523) which is also found in the fourth ḥadīth mentioned (p. 983) from the earlier ḥadīths of Muslim. 5 - "In the human being are three hundred and sixty joints..." (3/79/1640 and 3/106) which is also found in "al-Irwāʾ" (2/213) from the narration of a group including Aḥmad and al-Ṭaḥāwī, and they explicitly stated that ʿAbd Allāh heard it from his father Buraydah, and it is the narration of Ibn Khuzaymah in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (1226). 6 - He performed all the prayers with one ablution (3/105/1703, 1704, and 1705) also narrated by Muslim, and authenticated by a group, and it is the first ḥadīth mentioned (p. 982)
