and the fourth is in "Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd" (423), and it was also authenticated by Abū ʿAwānah, Ibn Ḥibbān, and al-Tirmidhī. and the fifth is in "Aḥkām al-Janāʾiz" (p. 178), and it was also authenticated by al-Tirmidhī and Ibn Ḥibbān. and the sixth: "The sanctity of the wives of the mujahideen...", recorded in "Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd" (2255) and also authenticated by Abū ʿAwānah and Ibn Ḥibbān. and the seventh: in the story of Māʿiz mentioned earlier, as it was narrated by Muslim and others from the ḥadīth of Sulaymān ibn Buraydah as well. and the eighth: "Whoever plays with nardashir...", and it is recorded in "al-Irwāʾ" (8/286-287), and was also authenticated by Ibn Ḥibbān and al-Baghawī. and the ninth: "Whoever calls to the red camel...", and it was also authenticated by Abū ʿAwānah, Ibn Ḥibbān, and likewise Ibn Khuzaymah (1301). and the tenth: the ḥadīth of the woman who gave charity on behalf of her mother with a slave girl, mentioned earlier in the biography of ʿAbdullāh ibn Buraydah, as some narrated it from his brother Sulaymān. Its documentation was mentioned earlier. I say: all these authentic ḥadīths and many, many more are what the pretentious man means by the criticism he attributed to Imām al-Bukhārī and others, claiming that ʿAbdullāh ibn Buraydah and his brother Sulaymān did not hear from their father! The man did not realize his ignorance of this science, and he greatly overlooked the consequences of what he transmits from some of the imāms regarding the weakening of their ḥadīths which the imāms themselves authenticated, and with whom the majority of scholars and ḥadīth preservers who came after them agreed. Among that negligence, he included in his "Riyāḍ" four ḥadīths numbers (434, 436, 1250, and 1296) from those authentic ḥadīths mentioned earlier from the narration of Muslim, indicating
