It was recorded by al-Dārimī (2/204) and Aḥmad (5/151, 153, 159, 164), and in one narration it adds: We said: What are these two pairs? He said: If they are men, then two men; if they are horses, then two horses; if they are camels, then two camels, until he enumerated the types of wealth. Its isnād is authentic. Al-Dārimī said after it: "It is two dirhams, or two female slaves, or two male slaves, or two animals." His saying: (lā tawá ʿalayhi): meaning no loss or damage, derived from tawá: destruction.

- "Whoever says: Subḥān Allāh, al-ḥamdu lillāh, lā ilāha illā Allāh, and Allāhu akbar, Allāh will plant a tree for each of them in Paradise." It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (2/235/1/8640) and in "al-Duʿāʾ" (3/1558/1676) through the route of ʿAlī ibn ʿUthmān al-Lāḥiqī who said: ʿImrān ibn ʿUbayd Allāh, the client of ʿUbayd al-Ṣayd, said: I heard al-Ḥakam ibn Abān narrating from ʿIkrimah from Ibn ʿAbbās who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. And he said: "ʿAlī ibn ʿUthmān was unique in narrating it." I say: He is trustworthy as mentioned in "al-Lisān," and the flaw is from his teacher ʿImrān, who was deemed weak by Ibn Maʿīn and al-Bukhārī as will be mentioned, but Ibn Ḥibbān considered him trustworthy (8/497), and thus al-Haythamī said (10/91): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Awsaṭ,' and its men were deemed trustworthy." By saying: "deemed trustworthy," he refers to the weak trustworthiness of one of its narrators, who is this ʿImrān, and al-Mundhirī did the same, as he said in "al-Targhīb" (2/245):
