ibn Judʿān, and al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (2/139): "There is a difference of opinion regarding using him as evidence, and he has been deemed trustworthy." I said: Thus, his ḥadīth can be used as supporting evidence, and for this reason, I considered this ḥadīth of his to be ḥasan because it has a corroborating report from ʿAlī (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu), whose narration was previously cited under number (237). As for Umm al-Ḥasan - who is al-Baṣrī - her name is (Khayrah), and she is trustworthy as mentioned in "Thiqāt Ibn Ḥibbān" (4/216). The statement of al-Ḥāfiẓ about her being "acceptable" is an unacceptable shortcoming, as a group of trustworthy narrators have reported from her, and she is a Tābiʿiyyah. ʿAdī ibn Abī ʿAdī is al-Kindī. Ibn Ḥibbān said in "Thiqāt al-Tābiʿīn" (5/270): "The name of Abū ʿAdī is Furwah, he narrates from his father, and it is said that he was a Companion. ʿĪsá ibn ʿĀṣim narrated from him. He died in the year one hundred and twenty-six." He is mentioned in "al-Tahdhīb." Abū Hammām al-Khārakī (originally: al-Khārijī, which is a scribal error) is named al-Ṣalt ibn Muḥammad, and he is trustworthy among the narrators of al-Bukhārī. He explicitly stated hearing from ʿAdī, so I do not know if this is preserved or not, as their treatment of his biography suggests he is later than this generation. Ibn Ḥibbān included him (8/324) among those who narrated from (the Followers of the Followers) and not from (their Followers)! And Allāh knows best.
ابن جدعان، وقال الهيثمي في " المجمع " (٢ / ١٣٩) : " واختلف في الاحتجاج به، وقد وثق ". قلت: فمثله يستشهد بحديثه، ولذلك حسنت حديثه هذا لأن له شاهدا من حديث علي ﵁، سبق تخريجه برقم (٢٣٧) . وأم الحسن - وهو البصري - اسمها (خيرة) ، وهي ثقة كما في " ثقات ابن حبان " (٤ / ٢١٦) وقول الحافظ فيها: " مقبولة " تقصير منه غير مقبول، فقد روى عنها جمع من الثقات، مع كونها تابعية. وعدي بن أبي عدي هو الكندي. قال ابن حبان في " ثقات التابعين " (٥ / ٢٧٠) : " واسم أبي عدي: فروة، يروي عن أبيه، ويقال: إن له صحبة. روى عنه عيسى ابن عاصم. مات سنة ست وعشرين ومائة ". وهو مترجم في " التهذيب ". وأبو همام الخاركي (الأصل: الخارجي، وهو تصحيف) اسمه الصلت بن محمد، وهو ثقة من رجال البخاري، وقد صرح بسماعه من عدي، فلا أدري إذا كان ذلك محفوظا أم لا، فإن صنيعهم في ترجمته يشعر بأنه متأخر عن هذه الطبقة، فأورده ابن حبان (٨ / ٣٢٤) فيمن روى عن (أتباع التابعين) وليس في (أتباعهم) ! والله أعلم.
