" he narrates from Anas ibn Mālik. Ibn ʿAwn narrated from him. He is not Ḥumayd al-Ṭawīl." Similarly, in "Tārīkh al-Bukhārī" and "al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl." Ibn Mākūlā said, and al-Ḥāfiẓ followed him in "al-Taqrīb": "unknown." I say: They overlooked the narration of ʿAṭiyyah ibn al-Ḥārith from him of this ḥadīth, if it is preserved, for although ʿAṭiyyah is truthful, the narrator from him, Bishr ibn Khālid, is unknown as previously mentioned. - "Our Lord laughs at the despair of His servants and the nearness of relief." Abū Razīn said: "Does the Lord laugh?" He said: "Yes." He said: "We will not be deprived of good from a Lord who laughs." It was recorded by al-Ṭayālisī in "Musnad" (1092): Ḥammād ibn Salamah narrated to us from Yaʿlá ibn ʿAṭāʾ from Wakīʿ ibn ʿAdas from Abū Razīn who said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. From this chain, it was recorded by Aḥmad in "al-Musnad" (4/12) and in "al-Sunnah" (452 - Dār Ibn al-Qayyim), Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (no. 554 - my verification), Ibn Mājah in "Sunan" (no. 281), ʿAbd Allāh ibn Aḥmad in "Zawāʾid al-Sunnah" (453), al-Dāraquṭnī in "al-Ṣifāt" (46/30 - verified by Dr. al-Faqīhī), al-Ājurrī in "al-Sharīʿah" (p. 279 and 279-280), and al-Bayhaqī in "al-Asmāʾ wa-al-Ṣifāt" (p. 473) through the route of al-Ṭayālisī - all of them from Ḥammād ibn Salamah with it. I say: This isnād is weak, its men are trustworthy according to Muslim except for Wakīʿ ibn ʿAdas, and it is said: "Ḥadas" with ḥāʾ instead of ʿayn, as al-Dhahabī said in "al-Mīzān":
