especially since it has been narrated as elevated through the route of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Salāmah: that Abū Ruhm narrated to them that Abū Ayyūb narrated to them that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it similarly. It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (4/154/3889) and through his route by ʿAbd al-Ghanī al-Maqdisī in "al-Sunan" (Q 93/2) from the route of Muḥammad ibn Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh: his father informed us from Ḍamḍam ibn Zarʿah from Shurayḥ ibn ʿUbayd who said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Salāmah used to narrate it. I said: And this isnād is weak, as I have not found a biography for Ibn Salāmah, and Muḥammad ibn Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh is weak, and they have been followed up. It has been narrated by Maslamah ibn ʿAlī from Zayd ibn Wāqid and Hishām ibn al-Ghāz from Makhūl from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Salāmah with it. It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" (4/153-154/3887 and 3888) and in "Musnad al-Shāmiyyīn" (p. 307 and 676) and "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (1/72/1 - Majmaʿ al-Baḥrayn) and through his route by al-Maqdisī in "al-Sunan" (Q 198/1) and al-Ṭabarānī said: "No one narrated it from Makhūl except Zayd and Hishām, and Maslamah was unique in narrating it." I said: And he is al-Khushnī, who is abandoned as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb", and al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (2/327) after attributing it to the two collections: ".. and he is weak." I said: And the route before it is better than this one, and al-Haythamī did not address it! I had extracted them in "al-Ḍaʿīfah" (864) and I had not come across the first authentic suspended route, and thus it was necessary to transfer them from there to here, as well as the ḥadīth there (863) from the narration of Anas (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) to be transferred here, because its meaning is in the presentation of deeds to the deceased at the end of the ḥadīth of the chapter. And Allāh knows best
