then it was also narrated by Ibn Jarīr (2/100/1253) through the route of Ibn Wahb, who said: Ibn Lahīʿah informed me from ʿAbdullāh ibn Hubayrah and al-Ḥārith ibn Yazīd from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Jubayr from ʿUqbah, as a marfūʿ report from his action (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). This isnād is also authentic, all its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of Muslim except for Ibn Lahīʿah, and it is known that his ḥadīth is authentic through the narration of Ibn Wahb from him. And it was previously mentioned there from a different narration of Ibn Lahīʿah, and al-Ḥārith ibn Yazīd was not paired with Ibn Hubayrah. In summary, this is a strong witness for the ḥadīth of the chapter: All praise is due to Allāh for His guidance, and I ask Him for more of His bounty, and that He admits me into Paradise by His mercy, indeed He is Merciful and Forgiving.
- "If the blood of any of you becomes agitated, let him perform cupping, for when the blood boils over in a person, it kills him." It was narrated by Ibn Jarīr al-Ṭabarī in "Tahdhīb al-Āthār" (2/106/1277): Mūsá ibn Sahl al-Ramlī told me, saying: Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz told us, saying: Sulaymān ibn Ḥabbān told us, saying: Ḥumayd al-Ṭawīl told us from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I said: Ibn Jarīr later indicated its authenticity (p. 116), and this is not far from the truth, for its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the two Shaykhs except for Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz - who is al-Ramlī - for he is among the narrators of al-Bukhārī, and Mūsá, the narrator from him, is trustworthy without dispute, and if it were not for the criticism of Ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz regarding his memory, I would have affirmed its authenticity, and al-Ḥāfiẓ indicated this by saying in "al-Taqrīb": "Truthful, but makes mistakes, and he had knowledge." And he indicated in his biography in the introduction of "Fatḥ al-Bārī" (p. 441 - al-Manīriyyah) that
