It has been criticized for disconnection, but al-Ṭabarānī connected it in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (1/162/2/3039) through the route of ʿUmar ibn Rāshid al-Yamāmī from Yaḥyá ibn Abī Kathīr from Zayd ibn Salām from his father from his grandfather from Ḥudhayfah with the addition found in the other route and the seventh and tenth. al-Suyūṭī mentioned it in "al-Jāmiʿ al-Kabīr" (4/361) in a more complete form from the narration of Ibn ʿAsākir. the third: from Sabaīʿ - and it is said: Khālid - ibn Khālid al-Yashkurī from Ḥudhayfah with it.
