Ishāq - who is Ibn Ibrāhīm ibn al-ʿAlāʾ ibn Zibriq al-Ḥimṣī - I do not know him, and he has been mentioned in "al-Muʿjam al-Ṣaghīr" with one ḥadīth (542 - al-Rawḍ), and four other ḥadīths in "al-Awsaṭ" (2/304/2 - 305/1/5039 - 5042), and he is frequently mentioned in "Musnad al-Shāmiyyīn" before and after this ḥadīth up to (p. 331) (1), and in all of them Muḥammad ibn Ismāʿīl explicitly stated the narration from his father, as well as (p. 334 then p. 335), and he was followed in the narration by Hāshim ibn Mirthad al-Ṭabarānī with him (p. 331 and 334). So perhaps he is among the trustworthy shaykhs of al-Ṭabarānī, and perhaps that is why al-Dhahabī did not include him in "al-Mīzān". And Allāh knows best. And among what strengthens the ḥadīth is what was reported by the two Shaykhs and others from Saʿd ibn Abī Waqqāṣ that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "You will not spend anything seeking thereby the face of Allāh except that you will be rewarded for it, even what you place in your wife's mouth." al-Irwāʾ (899).

- "Whoever sees a person afflicted and says: 'All praise is due to Allāh who has spared me from what He has afflicted you with and favored me over many of those He has created with great favor,' will not be afflicted by that affliction." It was reported by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (2/25/1/5457): Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Abī Khaythamah narrated to us, saying: Zakarīyā ibn Yaḥyá al-Ḍarīr informed us, saying: Shabābah ibn Sawwār informed us, saying al-Mughīrah ibn Muslim: from Ayyūb from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it.
