he was mentioned in "al-Lisān" as Khālid ibn Sharīk from al-ʿArbāḍ ibn Sāriyah, and from him Sufyān ibn Ḥusayn with a ḥadīth: "When he gives water..." and he said: "al-Azdī said: No one follows him on it." In summary, this account is among the problematic ones, and it is not easy to ascertain the correct version, but the ḥadīth is weak due to the disconnection between this Khālid and al-ʿArbāḍ, along with the uncertainty regarding Khālid's identity.
