the strong possibility that it was ʿĀʾishah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā), the maternal aunt of ʿUrwah ibn al-Zubayr, as it was narrated by a group from Hishām ibn ʿUrwah from his father from her with the wording: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) commanded us to build mosques in the neighborhoods, and that they be kept clean and perfumed." Its chain of narration is authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim, as I have verified in "Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd" (479), and it has supporting evidence from the ḥadīth of Samurah ibn Jundub, which was narrated by al-Bayhaqī, who said (2/440): "The intended meaning of (neighborhoods) is their tribes and clans."

- "Whoever circumambulates the House [seven times] and prays two rakʿahs, it is equivalent to freeing a slave." It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (2989 - edited by al-Aʿẓamī) through the route of al-ʿAlāʾ ibn al-Musayyib from ʿAṭāʾ from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: and he mentioned it. I say: This chain of narration is authentic; all its narrators are reliable, the men of al-Bukhārī and Muslim, except for Ibn Mājah's shaykh, ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad - who is al-Ṭanafīsī - and he is trustworthy and devout as al-Ḥāfiẓ said. Therefore, al-Būṣīrī said in "Zawāʾid Ibn Mājah" (182/2): "This chain of narration consists of trustworthy men." And ʿAṭāʾ is Ibn Abī Rabāḥ, and he was corroborated, as it was narrated by ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUbayd ibn ʿUmayr that he heard his father say: I heard Ibn ʿUmar say: and he mentioned it as a marfūʿ ḥadīth with the addition. It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (959), Ibn Khuzaymah in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (2753), and Ibn Ḥibbān
