the narration of Muslim (8/216) from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, and its contrary is reported from the ḥadīth of Abū Mūsá al-Ashʿarī as a mawqūf report with the wording: "I think the first thing that will speak from him is the right thigh." It was narrated by Ibn Jarīr with a ṣaḥīḥ isnād from him. And Allāh knows best. Al-fidām: what is tied over the mouth of a jug or cup to filter the drink inside, meaning they are prevented from speaking with their mouths until their limbs speak, likening it to al-fidām.
