"whoever guarantees for me what is between his jaws and what is between his legs, I will guarantee for him Paradise." Narrated by al-Bukhārī (6474) and al-Bayhaqī (8/166) and in "al-Shuʿab" (4/235/4913) from the ḥadīth of Sahl ibn Saʿd and also by al-Bayhaqī (4915) from the ḥadīth of Jābir with a good chain. There are other good supporting narrations for this, see "al-Fatḥ" (11/309). (Note): The ḥadīth was narrated by Abū Yaʿlá in "his Musnad" (3/18-19): narrated to us by Muḥammad ibn Marzūq: narrated to us by Zājir ibn al-Ṣalt from al-Ḥārith ibn ʿUmayr from Shaddād from Abū Ṭalḥah that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I said: al-Ḥārith ibn ʿUmayr is Abū ʿUmayr al-Baṣrī then al-Makkī, there is much disagreement about him, some consider him reliable, while others accuse him of fabricating, to the point that al-Dhahabī said in "al-Mughnī": "I am amazed how al-Nasāʾī included him." I said: because he considered him reliable, and his discreditation was not evident to him, and al-Ḥāfiẓ said: "The majority considered him reliable, but there are objectionable narrations in his ḥadīths, due to which al-Azdī, Ibn Ḥibbān, and others weakened him, perhaps his memory changed in the end." I said: and his narration of the ḥadīth with this isnād, differing in that from Muslim ibn Ibrāhīm, indicates his weakness, and therefore his matter was obscure to a group who spoke about him: Firstly: al-Haythamī said (4/253): "Narrated by Abū Yaʿlá, and its isnād is disconnected, and it includes someone I do not know." Secondly: Shaykh Ḥabīb al-Raḥmān al-Aʿẓamī, quoted the aforementioned statement of al-Haythamī
