the reader, despite his limited knowledge and lack of familiarity with this art, and his narrow scope in it, did not clarify the reason for authenticating the isnād of Aḥmad over that of al-Bazzār, which is the narration or lack thereof. He remained silent on the authentication, whereas it should have been graded as ḥasan, as we did due to the well-known disagreement regarding Ibn Isḥāq. Most of his annotations are of this type, lacking verification and knowledge, and are merely transmissions that even beginners in this field, like him and other Ḥanafī partisans, can manage. Nevertheless, some did not hesitate to eagerly nominate him for the Sunnah award for this year (1400) from the Saudi state, out of partisanship for him. Truly, as the saying goes: "Birds of a feather flock together"! However, it was awarded to the other al-Aʿẓamī, and perhaps it found its rightful place. Allāh has affairs in His creation. Then his saying (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): "Leave him, for the one with the right has a say." has appeared in another story in a shortened form from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah with the two Shaykhs and others, and it is documented in "Aḥādīth al-Buyūʿ." His saying: (al-dhukhrah): meaning al-dhakhīrah, in "al-Lisān": "And al-dhakhīrah: one of the treasures, which is what is stored, as well as (al-dhukhrah) and the plural: adhkhār." Al-Aʿẓamī did not recognize it and commented on it by saying: "Thus it is in the original, corrected by pen, and in 'al-Nihāyah': al-dhakhīrah is a known type of date"! I said: It is explained in Aḥmad's narration as (al-ʿajwah) as I have seen. (al-mūfūn al-muṭayyibūn) meaning those who fulfill their obligations with a willing heart
