I said: He has a biography in "al-Mīzān" and "al-Lisān," and the majority consider him weak. The third: from Mubārak ibn Faḍālah from Yūnus ibn ʿUbayd from Muḥammad ibn Sīrīn with it. It was narrated by al-Bazzār (4/251/3654) and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" as well, and Abū Saʿīd ibn al-Aʿrābī in "his Muʿjam" (p. 76/2) and Abū Muḥammad al-Makhladī in "al-Fawāʾid" (p. 245/1) and al-Bazzār said: "Mubārak was unique in narrating it, and its isnād is good." I said: It is so, except that this Mubārak used to practice tadlīs as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb" and others. Yes, it is good, rather it is authentic due to other corroborating reports. And al-Mundhirī (2/40) and al-Haythamī (10/241) said about the ḥadīth: "It was narrated by al-Bazzār, Abū Yaʿlá, and al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Kabīr' and 'al-Awsaṭ,' and its isnād is good." And al-Mundhirī did not mention al-Bazzār. 2 - As for the ḥadīth of Bilāl, it is narrated by Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan al-Asadī: informed us by Isrāʾīl from Abū Isḥāq from Masrūq from him. It was narrated by al-Bazzār (3653 - Kashf) and al-Ṭabarānī (1/107/1), and al-Bazzār said: "No one said: 'from Bilāl' except Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan, and others narrated it from Masrūq as mursal." I said: He is Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan ibn al-Zubayr al-Asadī al-Kūfī, and al-Ḥāfiẓ said: "Truthful, but there is some leniency in him."
