they passed by the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) with a funeral procession and praised it with good, so he said: "It is affirmed." Then they passed by another and spoke ill of it, so he said: "It is affirmed." Then he said: and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is authentic. ʿĀmir ibn Saʿd, who is al-Bajlī, was mentioned by Ibn Ḥibbān in "al-Thiqāt" (5/186), and Muslim included him in "al-Ṣaḥīḥ." A group of reliable narrators reported from him, and he has been corroborated as will be mentioned. And Ibrāhīm ibn ʿĀmir, who is the son of Masʿūd ibn Umayyah ibn Khalaf al-Qurashī al-Kūfī, is trustworthy without dispute. Then it was also reported by Aḥmad (2/261, 498, 528), Ibn Mājah (1492), and Ibn Ḥibbān (748) through various chains from Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr from Abū Salamah from Abū Hurayrah with a similar narration. This isnād is ḥasan. There is also a ṣaḥīḥ witness for the ḥadīth from Anas with a similar narration. It was reported by al-Shaykhān and others through various chains from him. It is included in "Aḥkām al-Janāʾiz" (pp. 44-45).

- "The last person to enter Paradise will be a man who walks once, stumbles once, and is scorched by the Fire once. His Lord will excuse him because he sees what he cannot bear, so He will bring him closer to it, and he will enjoy its shade and drink from its water. Then a tree better than the first will be raised for him, and he will say: 'O my Lord, bring me closer to this one so that I may drink from its water and enjoy its shade. I will not ask You for anything else.' Allāh will say: 'O son of Adam! Did you not pledge to Me that you would not ask Me for anything else?' - and he will say -: 'Perhaps if I bring you closer to it, you will ask Me for something else?' He will pledge not to ask Him for anything else, and his Lord will excuse him because he sees what he cannot bear, so He will bring him closer to it, and he will enjoy its shade and drink from its water.
