similarly, it was narrated by Aḥmad (1/161-162 and 163), so I thought that (Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr) mentioned in the isnād of "al-Zuhd" was an error, but then it became clear that it was a narration, for I saw that Imām Aḥmad narrated it (2/333) through his route from Abū Salamah from Abū Hurayrah with it, and then through his route from Abū Salamah from Ṭalḥah. Its isnād from Abū Hurayrah is ḥasan as al-Mundhirī said in "al-Targhīb" (1/142). It is supported by the ḥadīth of ʿĀmir ibn Saʿd ibn Abī Waqqāṣ who said: I heard Saʿd and some people from the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) saying: he mentioned it more completely. It was narrated by Ibn Khuzaymah in "Ṣaḥīḥ" (310), al-Ḥākim (1/200), and Aḥmad (1/177) through the route of Makhramah from his father from him, and al-Ḥākim said: "Ṣaḥīḥ isnād, and they did not narrate it, and the issue with it is that a group from the people of Egypt mentioned that Makhramah did not hear from his father due to his young age, yet some of them confirmed his hearing from him." I say: the more likely view is that his narration from his father is through finding it in his father's book, which is a valid proof, and perhaps Mālik (may Allāh have mercy on him) indicated this when he narrated the ḥadīth in "al-Muwaṭṭaʾ" (1/187) as a report, saying: It reached him from ʿĀmir ibn Saʿd with it, except that he did not mention: "and some people from the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam)."
- "Indeed, my father and your father are in the Fire." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" (3552): Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Ḥaḍramī narrated to us, Abū Kurayb narrated to us, Abū Khālid al-Aḥmar narrated to us from Dāwūd ibn Abī Hind from al-ʿAbbās ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from ʿImrān ibn al-Ḥuṣayn who said: Ḥuṣayn came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and said: What do you say about a man who used to maintain family ties and provide..
