and its chain of transmission is also authentic. In fact, this was confirmed by his action (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in the story of his illness and death when he came out while Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq was leading the people in prayer, so he (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) sat beside him on his left. (Mukhtaṣar al-Bukhārī / 366). From the chapters of al-Bukhārī (57 - Chapter: One stands on the right of the imam, beside him, if they are two). See the Mukhtaṣar (10 - Book of the Adhān) and the commentary on it. Note: The ḥadīth of the chapter was previously mentioned under number (606), so it was repeated here with additional benefits, and the best choice is what Allāh has chosen.

"Did he not fast after him during Ramadan and pray six thousand rakʿahs, and such and such rakʿahs for the sunnah prayer?" It was narrated by al-Bayhaqī in "Al-Zuhd" (73/2) from Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr from Abū Salamah from Ṭalḥah ibn ʿUbayd Allāh: that two men from Baliyy — a tribe from Quḍāʿah — one of them was killed in the way of Allāh, and the other was delayed for a year and then died. Ṭalḥah said: I saw in a dream that Paradise was opened, and I saw the latter of the two men enter Paradise before the first, so I was amazed. When I woke up, I mentioned that, and it reached the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to me: and he mentioned it. I said: And this chain of transmission is good if Abū Salamah heard from Ṭalḥah, for Ibn Maʿīn and others denied his hearing from him, but the ḥadīth is authentic due to supporting evidences, some of which will be indicated. It was also narrated by Ibn Mājah (3925) and Ibn Ḥibbān (2466) through the route of Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm al-Taymī from Abū Salamah with a more complete version
