according to the narration of al-Darāwardī. Then I found a strong corroboration for it from the narration of Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar from al-ʿAlāʾ with it. It was recorded by al-Ṭabarī in "al-Tahdhīb" (Musnad ʿUmar - 19/25), so the ḥadīth is authentic and all praise is due to Allāh. The first part of it has another chain narrated by al-Ṭabarī (20/26) and al-Aṣbahānī (72/2) from Ibn ʿAjlān: Saʿīd narrated to me from Abū Hurayrah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. The second part of the ḥadīth has another chain from Abū Hurayrah similar to it. It was recorded by the two Shaykhs and others, and there is a corroborating narration from al-Zubayr ibn al-ʿAwwām. It was recorded by al-Bukhārī and others, and it is referenced in "Takhrīj al-Ḥalāl" (157). The first sentence has corroborations from the ḥadīth of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAwf himself with Aḥmad (1/193) and from the ḥadīth of Abū Kabshah al-Anmārī with him also (4/231) and al-Tirmidhī, who authenticated it, and it is referenced in "al-Mishkāt" (5287) and from the ḥadīth of Umm Salamah, in which Yūnus ibn Khabbāb appears, who is weak. It is referenced in "al-Rawḍ al-Naḍīr" (1192).
