then I found a corroborating narration for al-Mughīrah, narrated by Abū Furwah who said: My father told me from his father: Sulaymān al-Aʿmash narrated it to us. It was recorded by Ibn Jamīʿ in "Muʿjam al-Shuyūkh". I said: This Abū Furwah is Yazīd ibn Muḥammad ibn Yazīd ibn Sinān al-Rahāwī. Ibn Abī Ḥātim mentioned him (4/2/288) narrating from a group, among them Abū Muḥammad, then said: "He wrote to my father and to me." Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt" (9/276) and said: "Abū ʿUrubah narrated from him, he died in (al-Rahā) in the year two hundred sixty-nine." His son Muḥammad ibn Yazīd ibn Sinān is not strong as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb". And Yazīd ibn Sinān is weak.

"I asked my Lord for something and I wished I had not asked Him, I said: O Lord! Before me were messengers, among them were those whom You subjected the winds to, and among them were those who revived the dead, [and You spoke to Mūsá].
