this, and among the glad tidings of the return of strength to the Muslims and their investment in the land in a way that helps them achieve their purpose, and indicates that they have a bright future even from an economic and agricultural perspective, is his saying (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam):

"The Hour will not be established until the land of the Arabs returns to being meadows and rivers." Narrated by Muslim (3/84), Aḥmad (2/703 and 417), and al-Ḥākim (4/477) from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah. The signs of this ḥadīth have begun to manifest in some parts of the Arabian Peninsula with the blessings and bounties Allāh has bestowed upon it, including irrigation machines that extract abundant water from the depths of the desert land. There is also the idea of diverting the Euphrates River to the peninsula, which we read about in some local newspapers, and perhaps it will come to fruition, for tomorrow is near for the one who waits. this, and it should be known in this context that his saying (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): "There will not come upon you a time except that which follows it is worse than it until you meet your Lord." Narrated by al-Bukhārī in "al-Fitan" from the elevated ḥadīth of Anas. This ḥadīth should be understood in light of the preceding ḥadīths and others, such as the ḥadīths about the Mahdī and the descent of ʿĪsá (ʿalayhi as-salām), as they indicate that this ḥadīth is not general but rather specific. It is not permissible to make people understand it as general, leading them to despair, which is not befitting for a believer (Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allāh except the disbelieving people). I ask Allāh to make us true believers in Him.
