and its chain of transmission is authentic. Then he reported (1638) through the route of Maʿmar from Thābit from Abū Rāfiʿ who said: "Pharaoh nailed his wife with four pegs. Then he placed a large millstone on her stomach until she died." And this is authentic. However, it is mursal with its suspension.

- "If there were in this mosque one hundred thousand or more, and among them was a man from the people of the Fire who exhaled, his breath would burn the mosque and those within it." It was recorded by al-Bazzār (3499), and Abū Yaʿlá in "al-Musnad" (4/1573-1574), and Ibn Abī al-Dunyā in "Ṣifat al-Nār" (Q 8/2), and Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (4/307), and the context is his, through the route of Isḥāq ibn Abī Isrāʾīl: He said: Abū ʿUbaydah al-Ḥaddād informed us: He said: Hishām ibn Ḥassān informed us from Muḥammad ibn Shabīb from Jaʿfar ibn Abī Waḥshīyah from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr from Abū Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said, and he mentioned it. Abū Nuʿaym said: "It is rare from the ḥadīth of Saʿīd, and Abū ʿUbaydah alone narrated it from Hishām." I say: Its chain of transmission is authentic; all its men are trustworthy, from the men of "al-Tahdhīb" except for Muḥammad ibn Shabīb, who is al-Zahrānī. Ibn Abī Ḥātim translated him, saying (3/2/285): "He narrated from al-Ḥasan and ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿUmayr; Hishām al-Dastawāʾī, Hishām ibn Ḥassān, and Ḥammād ibn Zayd narrated from him. My father mentioned from Isḥāq ibn Manṣūr from Yaḥyá ibn Maʿīn that he said: Muḥammad ibn Shabīb al-Zahrānī is trustworthy."
