and al-Dāraqutnī said: "He is not strong." And Muslimah said: "A liar, he narrated fabricated ḥadīths." And Ibn Yūnus said: "His ḥadīth is very inconsistent." And Ibn Ḥibbān said: "He narrates oddities from well-known narrators and inversions from trustworthy narrators; it is not permissible to use what he alone narrates as evidence."
