I said: And this isnād is authentic, its narrators are reliable, the narrators of the two Shaykhs except for Ibn Badhīmah and Ḥabtar, and they are both reliable. Abū Jamrah also followed him from Ibn ʿAbbās with it, except for his saying: "and they fermented..." etc. It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (10/463 - Fatḥ) and Muslim (1/35) and Abū Dāwūd, and they added: "and the ḥantam." And it was recorded by Abū Dāwūd from Abū Hurayrah similar to the ḥadīth of Abū Jamrah, and he added: "and the pierced water-skin, but drink from your vessel and seal it." And its isnād is authentic. Muslim (1/37) and Aḥmad (3/57) recorded it in the story of the delegation of ʿAbd al-Qays, where he (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Do not drink in the naqīr - they said: O Prophet of Allāh! May Allāh make me your ransom, do you know what the naqīr is? He said: Yes, the trunk whose middle is hollowed out - nor in the dubbaʾ nor in the ḥantam, and use the sealed vessel." And it was recorded by Abū Dāwūd from Abū al-Qumūṣ Zayd ibn ʿAlī, a man from the delegation who came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) from ʿAbd al-Qays said: "Do not drink in naqīr nor in muzaqqat nor in dubbaʾ nor in ḥantam, and drink from the sealed skin, and if it becomes strong, break it with water, and if it overwhelms you, pour it out." And the isnād is authentic. And it was recorded by Aḥmad (4/206) up to his saying: "the sealed upon it." And for this portion, there is another path with him (3/432 and 4/206).
