ninth: from Abū Khaldah who said: I said to Abū al-ʿĀliyah: Did Anas hear from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam)? He said: He served him for ten years, and the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) prayed for him, and he had an orchard that bore fruit twice a year, and it contained basil from which the scent of musk could be smelled. It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (3832), who said: "A ḥadīth that is ḥasan gharīb." I say: Its isnād is authentic, its men are trustworthy, the men of the ṣaḥīḥ. tenth: from Thumāmah ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Anas who said: "The vineyard of Anas bore fruit twice every year." It was recorded by Ibn Saʿd and its isnād is authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī. It was also recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (1/31/1/503) through another route from Thumāmah with a similar route, without Anas saying: "I have buried...", and its isnād is good. eleventh: from Sinān ibn Rabīʿah who said: I heard Anas ibn Mālik say: My mother took me to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and she said: O Messenger of Allāh! Your little servant, pray to Allāh for him. He said: "O Allāh, increase his wealth and children, prolong his life, and forgive his sin." Anas said: I have buried from my loins a hundred except two, or he said: a hundred and two, and indeed my fruit bears twice a year and I have lived until I became weary of life, (and in another narration: until I became embarrassed in front of people) and I hope for the fourth. It was recorded by Ibn Saʿd (7/19) and al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (653), and the other narration is his, and it includes Saʿīd ibn Zayd - who is al-Azdī - truthful but makes mistakes, and the narration of Ibn Saʿd is free from him, and therefore al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Fatḥ" (4/229):
