I said: Its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the two Shaykhs, except for ʿAlī ibn Zayd—who is Ibn Judʿān—who is weak due to his poor memory. He was followed by ʿAṭāʾ al-Khurasānī from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib with it in a shortened form with the wording: "If she sees the fluid, she must perform the full ablution." It was recorded by al-Nasāʾī (1/42). But this ʿAṭāʾ, even though he is truthful, makes many mistakes and practices tadlīs as the ḥāfiẓ said, and in my opinion, if it were not for his use of ʿanʿanah, he would have been an acceptable follower of Ibn Judʿān. However, the ḥadīth has supporting evidence that strengthens it, including a ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah similar to it, in which he (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Yes, indeed women are the counterparts of men." It is an authentic ḥadīth as I have clarified in "Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd" (234).

- "There is nothing in Paradise that resembles anything in this world except the names." It was narrated by Abū Nuʿaym in "Ṣifat al-Jannah" (21/2): Abū Muḥammad ibn Ḥayyān narrated to us, Abū Yaḥyá al-Rāzī narrated to us, Hannād ibn al-Sarī narrated to us, Abū Muʿāwiyah and Wakīʿ narrated from al-Aʿmash from Abū Ẓabyān from Ibn ʿAbbās as a mawqūf narration. It was also recorded by al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Maqdisī in "al-Mukhtārah" (59/198/2) through the route of Abū Isḥāq Ibrāhīm ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar ibn Bakīr al-ʿAbsī, Wakīʿ narrated it. I said: Both isnāds revolve around Wakīʿ, who is trustworthy among the narrators of the two Shaykhs, so the chain is authentic. Al-Mundhirī said in "al-Targhīb" (4/278): "It was narrated by al-Bayhaqī with a good isnād."
