and its indication is in his statement: "the morning of al-ʿAqabah," as it means the morning of throwing the large Jamrah of al-ʿAqabah. Its apparent meaning is that the command to collect [the pebbles] was in Miná, near the Jamrah. What people do today of collecting the pebbles in Muzdalifah has no basis in the sunnah, rather it contradicts these two ḥadīths, given the unnecessary effort and burden without benefit!

"When you ask Allāh, ask Him for al-Firdaws, for it is the center of Paradise." Narrated by al-Fasawī in "al-Tārīkh" (2/254-255), as well as al-Bukhārī in the biography of Suwayd (2/2/146), al-Bazzār in "Musnad" (4/191/3512), and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (18/254/635) and "Musnad al-Shāmiyyīn" (p. 367), all from Isḥāq ibn Ibrāhīm ibn al-ʿAlāʾ ibn Zibriq who said: ʿAmr ibn al-Ḥārith ibn al-Ḍaḥḥāk narrated to me, who said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Sālim narrated to me from al-Zubaydī, who said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī ʿAwf narrated to me that Suwayd ibn Jabalā narrated to them: that ʿArbāḍ ibn Sāriyah narrated to them, attributing it to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), that he said: and he mentioned it, and they added except al-Bazzār: "A man among you says to his shepherd: 'Go to the valley's top, for it is more fertile and lush.'" Al-Bazzār said: "We do not know it from ʿArbāḍ except through this isnād." I say: It is weak for reasons that will be mentioned. Al-Haythamī said (10/171): "Narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and its men are reliable." And he said in another place (10/398): "Narrated by al-Bazzār, and its men are trustworthy!"
