and with it, al-Haythamī criticized it in "al-Majmaʿ" (8/43), and al-Aʿẓamī followed him! His criticism with Ḥumayd ibn al-Rabīʿ is more appropriate, for there is disagreement about him, and some have accused him, so refer to "al-Lisān" if you wish. As for ʿAmr ibn Suwayd, I did not recognize him. Then I realized that it was a distortion, and the correct name is ʿUmayr ibn Suwayd, mentioned by Ibn Ḥibbān in "al-Ḍuʿafāʾ" (2/198) and he weakened him, and he also narrated this ḥadīth through Ḥumayd, and al-Dhahabī said after it: "and Ḥumayd is known for objectionable narrations."
وبه أعله الهيثمي في "المجمع " (٨ / ٤٣) ، وقلده الأعظمي! وإعلاله بحميد بن الربيع أولى، فإنه مختلف فيه، وقد أتهمه بعضهم، فراجع " اللسان " إن شئت. وعمرو بن سويد لم أعرفه. ثم تبينت أنه محرف، وأن الصواب عمير بن سويد، أورده ابن حبان في " الضعفاء " (٢ / ١٩٨) وضعفه، وساق له هذا الحديث من طريق حميد أيضا، وقال الذهبي عقبه: " وحميد ذو مناكير ".

"The seal of prophethood on his back was a raised piece of flesh." It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī in "al-Shamāʾil" (p. 40) from Bishr ibn al-Waḍḍāḥ, who reported from Abū ʿAqīl al-Dūrīqī, from Abū Naḍrah al-ʿAwqī, who said: I asked Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī about the seal of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is authentic, its narrators are trustworthy, the men of Muslim, except for Bishr ibn al-Waḍḍāḥ, who is truthful. Al-ʿAwqī is with an open mīm and wāw, then qāf, and it appeared in the original with a fāʾ, which is a common mistake. He was followed by ʿItāb al-Bakrī, who said: "We used to sit with Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī in Medina, and I asked him about the seal of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) that was between his shoulders? He pointed with his index finger: like this: a raised piece of flesh between his shoulders (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam)." It was recorded by Aḥmad in "al-Musnad" (3/69) from Abū Laylā ʿAbd Allāh ibn Maysarah al-Khurāsānī from ʿItāb al-Bakrī. I say: This isnād is weak, ʿItāb al-Bakrī was mentioned by Ibn Abī Ḥātim (3/2/12) without any criticism or commendation, and Ibn Ḥajar did not mention him in "al-Taʿjīl," although he is according to his criteria
" كان خاتم النبوة في ظهره بضعة ناشزة ". أخرجه الترمذي في " الشمائل " (ص ٤٠) عن بشر بن الوضاح أنبأنا أبو عقيل الدورقي عن أبي نضرة العوقي قال: سألت أبا سعيد الخدري عن خاتم رسول الله ﷺ: فذكره. قلت: وهذا إسناد صحيح، رجاله ثقات رجال مسلم غير بشر بن وضاح وهو صدوق. والعوقي بفتح المهملة والواو ثم قاف، ووقع في الأصل بالفاء وهو خطأ شائع. وقد تابعه عتاب البكري قال: " كنا نجالس أبا سعيد الخدري بالمدينة، فسألته عن خاتم رسول الله ﷺ الذي كان بين كتفيه؟ فقال بإصبعه السبابة: هكذا: لحم ناشز بين كتفيه صلى الله عليه وسلم ". أخرجه أحمد في " مسنده " (٣ / ٦٩) عن أبي ليلى عبد الله بن ميسرة الخراساني عن عتاب البكري. قلت: وهذا إسناد ضعيف، عتاب البكري أورده ابن أبي حاتم (٣ / ٢ / ١٢) ولم يذكر فيه جرحا ولا تعديلا، ولم يذكره ابن حجر في " التعجيل " وهو على شرطه.
