And al-Ḥāfiẓ said: "Acceptable from the fourth category." Thus, he is a tābiʿī who did not meet ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb. And he said: "No one narrated it with this isnād except al-Naḍr." I said: And through his route, it was narrated by Ibn ʿAsākir (11/83/1), and it is weak. But the narrator from him, al-ʿAlāʾ ibn ʿAmr al-Ḥanafī, is a liar
