without losing its benefits. At this very stage, the father took his book to his place of retreat and seclusion, where Allāh bestowed His blessings upon him and granted him well-being. You would see him engrossed in it without distinguishing between the hours of night and day until he completed the first index. Then, he had to return to his home. The winter was harsh, which increased the father's pains and illness, forcing him to stop completing the rest of the indexes. Thus, some employees of the "Islamic Library" were entrusted with completing and correcting them. Unfortunately, the father was unable to review and revise them as he wished. In order to benefit Muslims with the noble ḥadīth contained in the book and not to delay the abundant knowledge it holds, the book had to be published in this form. What cannot be fully achieved should not be entirely abandoned. We ask Allāh, the Exalted, to reward the virtuous father on our behalf and on behalf of the Muslims with the best reward, to prolong his life, grant him health and well-being, bless his time, so he may continue to enrich Muslims with his books and writings, oversee their publication and release himself, so that the benefit may spread to Muslims in the east and west of the earth. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive. Glory be to You, O Allāh, and with Your praise. I bear witness that there is no deity but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
