It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/483). I said: This isnād is acceptable for supporting evidence. This Khazraj, Ibn Maʿīn said: reliable, and Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt," but al-Dāraquṭnī said: "a Basran who is abandoned, and Abū Ayyūb from Abū Hurayrah is a group, but this is unknown." I said: This is an important benefit from Imām al-Dāraquṭnī (may Allāh have mercy on him) that Abū Ayyūb from Abū Hurayrah is a group, and this is something that the ḥāfiẓ did not point out in the biography of this Abū Ayyūb. He was named ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī Sulaymān al-Umawī, and it is said: his name is Sulaymān. Al-Dhahabī said in "al-Mīzān": "Abū Ayyūb, the client of ʿUthmān, from Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim, is unknown." I said: this is the defect in this isnād. 2 - Fulayḥ from Hilāl ibn ʿAlī from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī ʿAmrah from Abū Hurayrah, marfūʿ: "A bowshot or a whip in Paradise is better than what the sun rises and sets upon." It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/482). I said: Its isnād is according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs, despite the weakness in Fulayḥ, who is Ibn Sulaymān al-Khuzāʿī al-Madanī. The ḥāfiẓ said: "truthful but makes many mistakes." 3 - Hammām ibn Munabbih said: This is what Abū Hurayrah narrated to us from the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and he mentioned aḥādīth, one of which is in the wording: "The length of a whip of one of you in Paradise is better than what is between the heaven and the earth."
