"If you were to remain as you are when you are with me in private, the angels would shake hands with you until they overshadow you with their wings visibly, but it is an hour and an hour." It was narrated by Abū Yaʿlá (2/786): Muḥammad narrated to us, ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, Maʿmar informed us from Qatādah from Anas: The Companions of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "O Messenger of Allāh, when we are with you, we see in ourselves what we love, and when we return to our families and mingle with them, we find ourselves changed." The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said... and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is authentic, its men are trustworthy, the men of the two Shaykhs except for this Muḥammad, who is Ibn Mahdī al-Aylī. Ibn Abī Ḥātim said (4/1/106): "He narrated from Abū Dāwūd al-Ṭayālisī, and Abū Zurʿah narrated from him." I say: And the shaykhs of Abū Zurʿah are trustworthy, so the isnād is authentic. Then I saw that Ibn Ḥibbān also narrated it (2493) through the route of Abū Qadīd ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Faḍālah, ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated it. And this is a strong corroboration for this Ibn Mahdī, for Ibn Faḍālah is a reliable and firm narrator as in "al-Taqrīb." And the ḥadīth has a witness from the narration of Ḥanẓalah al-Asīdī, which has passed under number (1948).

"Allāh will judge between His creation, the jinn, humans, and animals, and He will take retribution on that day from the hornless for the horned until there is no claim left for one against another.
